Pastor Russ Baker

Russ Baker has been on staff at Westview Christian Church since July of 2013 as both the Associate Pastor and now Senior Pastor. He is married to his lovely wife Heather and has two sons, Nathan and Samuel. Born and raised in Amarillo, Russ spent 10 years in the U.S. Army  serving with both 2nd Bn. 75th Ranger Regiment and the C co. LRS 3/124 Cav. He is a veteran of both Operation Uphold Democracy in Haiti and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. In 2003, Russ and his family spent three years in foreign missions, church planting in San Jose del Sitio, Chihuahua, Mexico.  He is a graduate of Amarillo College where he earned an Associate of Arts in Business Administration and  The Moody Bible Institute where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies. Additionally, Russ is currently a graduate student at Reformed Theological Seminary

 

Pastor Jeremy Boothby

Jeremy was born and raised in Canyon, Texas. He is married to the love of his life Maricruz Boothby. They have two children, Adam-Abel and Emma Boothby. Jeremy received a Bachelor of Science degree in Religion from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA and a Master of Arts in Religion degree from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, PA. Jeremy has been in ministry since 2004 and has served at Christ Covenant Presbyterian Church since graduating from Westminster in 2012. As preaching elder of CCPC, Jeremy is wholly devoted to preaching and teaching the whole counsel of God’s Word. He is involved in the life of the church and deeply loves the body that the Lord has called him to serve.

 

Pastor Bobby File

Bobby has been pastor of Evangelical Fellowship Church (EFCA) in Amarillo, Texas, since 2000, and counts the fellowship with other pastors associated with ARF as one of the biggest encouragements of his Christian life. He grew up in Houston and is a graduate of the University of Texas. Before coming to Amarillo he served as a youth minister in Austin, a high school social studies teacher in the Texas hill country, and on staff at a Christian camp in Colorado. He and his wife Marty have been married since 1975 and have two married daughters and two grandsons.

Blake Johnson has served as Associate Pastor for Evangelical Fellowship Church (EFCA) in Amarillo. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Nebraska in Omaha, and a Master of Arts in Religion degree from Redeemer Seminary in Dallas, Blake served as chaplain and teacher for six years at Founders Christian School in Spring, TX. He and his wife Candice are blessed to be raising four boys: Landry, Owen, Calvin, and James. 

 

Pastor Jon Kohler

Jon Kohler accepted the position of Executive Director of the Bible Chair of the Southwest in the fall 2002.  Jon received a Bachelors of Theology degree from Ozark Christian College in 2000.  He then earned the Masters of Arts degree with an emphasis in Biblical Exegesis from Wheaton College in 2002.  During his time at Wheaton, Jon was a research assistant and teaching assistant for Dr. Gregory Beale.  Upon graduation he was awarded the G.H. Waterman award for excellence in Old and New Testament studies from Wheaton College.  In 2004 Jon married the love of his life, Macy.  Jon and Macy have three children: Benjamin, Claire and Wyatt.
